Dog ToysYour dog always loves to play with all kinds of toys, but these days it’s important to make those toys last!  You should always have different types of toys for your pet to play with such as chewing toys for puppies or big chewers, hide and seek toys to keep them active and challenged, soft plush toys for having fun and for babying, and of course the all important interactive toys where you and your pet can have lots of active personal play time!  The key is to only let your pet have a couple of toys at a time for a week or so  and then rotate them to different toys for another week.  Your pet will be amazed and they will think they’re getting new toys all of the time!  It will save lots of wear and tear on your pet’s toys and will keep them interested in playing with their toys thus keeping them from chewing up or playing with things they shouldn’t.  Always make sure that the toys you buy are suitable for your pet’s size and activity level.  One last important note:  Dog toys are very important in keep your pet happy, active, and enjoying themselves and for enjoying playtime with you.  There is no end to the kind of dog toys you can find to suit your taste and your dog’s preferences.

The harness: Comfortable and fashionable

If you have a small dog, you know how difficult it can be to find a collar that fits properly. Many of them will slip right off your tiny dog’s neck! Even if you do find the right size collar, it can hurt your dog’s neck when you pull on the leash. The solution? A comfortable, adjustable harness made especially for small dogs.

A small dog harness fits around your dog’s chest, belly and back so that when up pull on the leash, it stops your dog by putting pressure on his chest, not by choking his neck. Since there is much more material on a harness than on a collar, you can make a fashion statement by choosing a harness in a fun color or print. Look for one with simple snap or Velcro closures in a fabric that is easy to wash and dry. Your small dog will thank you for saving him from the pain of a choking collar and making him look fashionable all at the same time!

The Toys Cats Love Most

Let’s face it, cats often aren’t too picky when it comes to toys. In fact, some of the most enjoyable cat toys for a cat might be pieces of string or cardboard boxes. Just like little kids, cats and kittens can have a lot of fun with a wide range of objects, not just those cat toys the manufacturers produce. However, there are a few cat toys only available from retailers that will make cats go crazy. The classic cat fishing pole is one such example. Often a simple rod with a piece of string tied to a fish or mouse, the cat fishing pole is something all cats love to play with, and it’s also a great accessory for owners who want to spend more time with their cats. There is also a wide range of catnip toys, and these are what really make cats go crazy. Catnip is like a natural stimulant for cats, and it often causes them to be hyperactive.

There are all kinds of activities cats and their owners can enjoy with cat toys. Every cat is different though, so some cats might be stimulated by certain toys, while others won’t care about them at all. Be sure to find out entertains the cat the most!
