Toys for Big Dogs and Big Chewers
Author: airborneIf you’re like me and have a big dog who usually chews up her new toys in a matter of hours, don’t despair! There are a lot of toys made just for big dogs or any dog who just literally chews the stuffing out of the plush dog toys. Although there is no such thing as an indestructable dog toy, there are toys that are made tough and made to last for a long time. Most of them come in different sizes for all size dogs that just chew up their toys quickly. I don’t think dogs chew up their toys to be devious or mean, they just play a little too rough with their toys and sometimes destroy them altogether, much to the owner’s despair. If you find yourself in this predicament, Kong, Hyperdog, and Kyjen have many dog toys that are great for your situation!
History of Dog Clothes
Author: BettyAnnLately I’ve noticed a lot more dogs big and small are going out dressed to the T’s. In my small Colorado town, it can get really cold and windy so I can understand why pet owners want to protect their beloved pets from suffering from the winter chill. I decided to do a little research on clothes for dogs and I was really surprised at what I found. First of all, I had no idea that people used clothing for their horses and dogs back in medieval times to protect them from the elements and attacks. This tradition has carried on to today although clothing for dogs has come a long way! We now have sturdy warm coats and boots to protect our dogs from the wintry cold weather and to protect their paws from snow, ice, salt and rocky terrain that can cause damage to their delicate paws. Most coats for dogs also feature reflective strips for added safety and visibility at night. There are also many styles and colors of sweaters for dogs that are perfect for days when it is chilly outdoors and you just want to give your dog that little extra warmth and comfort. T-shirts are almost as versatile for dogs as they are for us humans! You can find t-shirts for any size dog with cute little sayings and awesome designs. People always light up with joy when they see a dog wearing any type of dog clothing and the dog of course loves all of the added attention that their clothes bring to them. If you have ever considered buying your dog a sweater, coat, boots, or tee shirt, I say go for it! Your dog will love you for it and there are so many styles and sizes of dog apparel to fit the lifestyle of any dog big or small, there’s just no reason not to indulge your dog!
Why My Dog Shakur Prefers a Leash
Author: DogsBestFriend
Yo Yo what’s up peeps! This is your boy Franky Fresh again, and I want to provide the 411 from my little G Shakur when it comes to wearing a leash. Now Shakur’s a pitbull with some serious style, and as an independent dog, he doesn’t seem like the kind that would want to wear dog leashes. Shakur can take care of himself no doubt, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t like wearing a leash. I think for Shakur, his dog leash is more than just a lead, it’s a fashion statement. Shakur won’t wear any normal leash, that stuff has to be diamond studded, gold plated, and funky fresh. All the other dogs are jealous of Shakur’s fly leash.
I think Shakur also likes wearing a leash so I can hold him back when necessary. Now Shakur ain’t the kind of dog to pick fights, but he is the kind to finish them standing. Most of the time, if another dog steps to Shakur, he’ll get all up in that dog’s face and make me hold him back with his leash; the other dog usually backs off. I don’t think Shakur would really attack another dog, but he makes sure that other dog thinks he would. That Shakur is deep.
My Dog Shakur Represents for the Two O Six
Author: DogsBestFriend
What it do everyone up in this blog! Ya’ll know my name, Franky Fresh, the canine king on the mean streets of the Two O Six. But the real king is my pitbull Shakur, a straight gangsta born in the fires of hell’s kitchen. Now Shakur, just like his namesake, represents for that whole west coast movement. Shakur keeps it fly in his dog bandana and barks until I bump that California Love when we’re rolling in my Cadillac. But Shakur has an appreciation for all forms of rap, hip-hop, and R&B; he’ll bark in unison with the bass from R. Kelly’s latest beat, just as he’ll do his best to mimic the ‘YEAHs’ of Lil’ Jon.
Shakur’s musical tastes draw a lot of attention from around the hood; if other dogs hear him barking to a fresh beat, they’ll want to do it too. In fact Shakur even got an offer from a label a while back, but he’s too real for all that fame stuff, he’s content to ride on the streets and let the more talented artists make the beats.
