Everyone has their own favorite pet story!  We all remember growing up with our best friend and how they helped us just by being there to listen to us and making us laugh or to just snuggle up to us and make us feel loved. Most all of us have a special pet friend (or friends)  in our adult life as well.  Share your story with fellow pet lovers and they’ll understand and probably nod in agreement with you that pets are special!

It’s  been  around four thousand years when we were first able to form a mutual “partnership” with cats. They have never actually been domesticated as dogs or other animals have. They  co-exist with us peacefully and they show us great affection and admiration. People are just naturally drawn to the cute little kitten or the cat outside chasing butterflies. Cats are graceful intelligent animals. They are probably the only species that has retained the look and behavior they had in the wild.

Our cat friends still love the thrill of the hunt and they still possess the attributes their wild cousins use to hunt for prey. That’s why it’s so important to find cat toys for your pet cats that will not only satisfy that natural instinct, but to also give them  exercise and a way for us to bond more closely with them. Domesticated cats can be very sociable and will enjoy the time you spend with them.  It can be very rewarding for you and your cat. 

As a little girl, I used to love dressing up my little dog and best friend “Otto” in my doll clothes.  Back then they didn’t have anything made just for dogs.  I don’t think he minded too much as he was getting lots of love and attention from me.  Now that I have a daughter, she likes to do the same thing with our little dog “Jake”.  which is a boxer.  But these little  dog t- shirts are so awesome and fit a whole lot better!  The different sayings they have are so cute and whenever my daughter takes Jake out for walks, everyone is wanting to know where we found such cute little dog t shirts for him! 

I have two cats and a dog and, as you can imagine, the upkeep on my little family can get a bit expensive.  Luckily I found great cat grooming supplies online.  There was a wonderful selection of everything that my guys need, be it a bed, feeders or shampoos.  The best part is I feel like I’m really engaging with people who understand cats and dogs and not just some kid who works at a chain store who thinks that all cats are female. 

Dogs, like humans, often get stressed and need a place to lay their head.  Finding a dog bed that suit your little friend is an important task, as cats and dogs have a lot of similar sleeping habits and levels of comfort.  The best thing to do is to observe your pet for a few nights and see where they spend the most time to relax.  From there, you should be able to figure out what kind of bed would be a great fit. 

Once you have a fully relaxed pet, you’ll no doubt have a much happier friend.

Cats make such wonderful companions although you may perceive the cat as aloof or disinterested in you. They really aren’t, they’re just wanting to get to know you before they snuggle up in your lap or jump on the newspaper you’re trying to read! Once the bond between the two of you is created, it’s there for life and you’ll be so glad you saved a life and allowed it into yours!
