Everyone has their own favorite pet story! We all remember growing up with our best friend and how they helped us just by being there to listen to us and making us laugh or to just snuggle up to us and make us feel loved. Most all of us have a special pet friend (or friends) in our adult life as well. Share your story with fellow pet lovers and they’ll understand and probably nod in agreement with you that pets are special!

When I read this post, I just had to write about my big German Shephard mix named Dora (my granddaughter named her). Anyway, she weighs around 45 lbs. but she is such a big baby! Now that it’s close to 4th of July, our neighbors shoot off a lot of fireworks which scare poor Dora alot! One night last year she got so scared she ran into our bedroom and under the bed to hide. Well, she got under there okay, but due to her size, she got stuck! My husband and I had to lift the end of the bed so she could get out! Needless to say, we now try to keep her calm and in a safe part of the house so she won’t get too scared anymore!
